Career
When sight depends on complex diagnoses and high-precision decisions, experience makes the difference. Dr. Gerardo Ledesma Gil has devoted his career to the study of retinal disease, pairing a solid scientific background with a deep commitment to the care of his patients.
He trained at the Instituto de Oftalmología Fundación Conde de Valenciana and added international training in Chicago and a Medical Retina Fellowship in New York. He is currently an attending physician in the Retina Department of the Instituto Conde de Valenciana, a teacher of specialists in training and a Doctor of Clinical Sciences from the Tecnológico de Monterrey.
